Leighton Meester’s Mom Axes Lawsuit
Talk about family issues- Leighton Meester's mom Constance Meester was suing her for breach of contract for failing to pay her $10,000 per month.
But now Mama Meester has come to her senses, dropping the $3 million countersuit that was filed in response to the “Gossip Girl” gal’s claims that her mom was misusing the $7,500 she was sending home each month to help care for her younger brother.
As it turns out, Leighton was trying to get her brother Alexander to move in with her in New York City following his recent brain surgery and subsequent health problems.
An insider told press, “Leighton is disgusted by her mother and is determined to get her brother Lex out of that situation. She wants Lex to leave their mom’s California hom and come to live with her in New York.”
