Jessica Biel Hosts 6th Annual Charity:Ball
She's been an ardent supporter of the non-profit organization, and Jessica Biel played hostess at the 6th Annual Charity:Ball benefiting charity: water in New York City on Monday night (December 12).
Held at the 69th Regiment Armory, the "New Year's Eve" actress joined alongside charity: water founder Scott Harrison with guests being treated to a special auction hosted by Tyler Perry.
As for the celebrity attendees, stars including Sophia Bush, Jessica Lowndes and Katie Lee all turned up to raise funds in an effort to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
Having started the charity: water effort back in 2006 after an eye-opening trip to Africa, Harrison told Bloomberg of the motivation behind his goodwill undertaking, “I had been selling $350 bottles of Grey Goose vodka at clubs, and here were 5,000 people, some who had come from neighboring countries to see a doctor." He added, "I was devastated.”
